Saskatoon Hybrid
For this hybrid timber frame house in Saskatchewan, our client came to us with an existing home plan that utilized framed walls and a manufactured trussed roof. Our engineer worked with the client's designer to build a hybrid timber frame within the pre-existing frame, and the client opted to place the timbers in the great room, along the verandah and in the gables. We used Tung oil to provide natural protection for the timbers.
