We assembled this beautiful handcut cedar log home for our clients in Alsace, France. With large, fluted cedar logs framing the exterior, this 2,100-square-foot home certainly makes a bold statement among the other homes in the neighbourhood. The average log diameter in the walls is 18 inches (46 cm), with larger log ends measurng up to 24 inches (61 cm) in diameter.
